These are long overdue, but I’m excited to share with you Kendra and Brandon’s lovely engagement session!

I worked with both Kendra and Brandon a few years back and therefore was more than just a little excited when I found out that they got engaged. =P The are both funny, caring, and kind people and make an excellent couple. They’re definitely the kind of people you know take the commitment of “sticking by you through thick and thin” seriously and you can see it in everything they do together.

I hope you enjoy this set as much as I enjoyed shooting it and that everyone had a great holiday season. =)

Engaged || Kelly + Stephen || Sope Creek, Marietta, Georgia

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. The cool air offers us a respite from the oppressive Georgia heat, the leaves turn into fantastic colors, and the light just seems more golden. I was shocked how few black and whites I converted over from this session, but then I remembered, who wants black and white when there is so much beautiful color around?!

And who needs black and white when you have Kelly’s gorgeous eyes?! =P Of course, it always helps to have a beautiful couple in love to compliment the beautiful scenery. Kelly and Stephen were definitely that! I am so excited to photograph their wedding in the spring – it’s such an honor to be a part of a wedding where the couple is truly meant for each other.

I remember saying “wow!” out loud as I went through this set. I hope you will too!

Married || Caitlin + Will || The Grande at Kennesaw, Kennesaw, Georgia

Caitlin and Will are the kind of people you know are going to be together forever because of how great their personalities are. I don’t think anything could phase these two! When it threatened to rain, Caitlin just (rightly) said it couldn’t be helped, it was just all the men of the world crying because she was no longer on the market. =P And you can tell where they get their fun loving personalities from – their families were simply a blast! Between Caitlin and her dad dancing to Brittany Spears and Will’s father’s retelling of how “cowboy” met “cowgirl,” you couldn’t help but have a good time.

And to top it off, Catilin’s heart-felt hand-written vows to Will were some of the most touching I have yet to hear at a wedding. And for the rest of the night, you could tell every time Will gazed at his bride, he couldn’t be happier. =) I can’t imagine a more perfect first day to the beginning of their life together!
